These are cutting, prepolishing and polishing compounds, a new formulation by NG Art. These sticks are easy to use--spread them on a prepped lap and disperse with an oil-based lubricant like sewing machine oil. These have all performed well in my personal testing! Note that since these are their first run, all the packaging is being done by hand and the sticker labels may start peeling off the tubes over time.
The 600 grit charged on copper provides gentler cutting than a 600 grit topper and leaves a great finish.
1200 grit is somewhere between cutting and prepolish depending on the lap and the stone.
3000 grit is an aggressive prepolish, great for corundum in particular.
8000 grit is a finer prepolish which some materials do a bit better with.
14,000 grit is on the border between prepolish and polish and can avoid orangepeel issues that some stones (particularly moissanite) can have with coarser prepolishes.
60,000 and 100,000 grits are both excellent for final polishing.
