Pure Nd:YAG Jewelry, Violet Laser Garnet in Sterling Silver

These are violet Nd laser garnets set in sterling silver. 

These are violet in normal light and turn pure colorless under fluorescent illumination (like a CFL bulb).  It also shifts from violet to magenta to blueberry purple depending on the color temperature of LED lighting, though this is less pronounced.

This is pure Nd:YAG, not the material codoped with Cerium, so you won't see any fluorescence under longwave UV (though the pale green/white under shortwave is still present).

Nd YAG has been used in lasers since 1964. It is still the most classic and widely-used variety. With a hardness of 8.5 it is ideal for use in all kinds of jewelry.
